What's behind the headline?
- The piece consolidates two Independent articles from Oct 19 and Oct 20, 2026, into a concise summary of Dane’s posthumous memoir and his life. - It mentions ALS, the Grey’s Anatomy role, Shonda Rhimes’ non-comment, and PRH imprint. - The synthesis could benefit from direct quotes for stronger sourcing and a clearer timeline, but remains factual and compact.
