US Air Force unit at Edwards AFB, responsible for flight testing
Eight people have died after a B-52 Stratofortress crashed during a test flight at Edwards Air Force Base. The victims include four active-duty airmen, one reservist and three civilians. The airfield remains closed; officials say the investigation could take up to six months and no cause has yet been determined.
