Prince Harry has had an invitation to stay at Buckingham Palace withdrawn at the last moment as a High Court judgment against Associated Newspapers Limited looms. He had previously accepted the offer after arranging new security, but Buckingham Palace says the hospitality and staffing will not be available and the changes could affect the King’s position. The Duke is travelling to the UK for Invictus events while his legal case continues.
Prince Harry has visited the UK this month for charity and Invictus events and has met King Charles and Queen Camilla at Highgrove. The meeting has allowed Harry’s children, Archie and Lilibet, to see their grandfather for the first time since 2022. The trip has followed his loss in a High Court privacy case and a dispute over state-funded security for his family.
