Pakistan has sealed major approaches to Islamabad with more than 1,500 shipping containers and deployed tens of thousands of police ahead of a planned march by Imran Khan's Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI). Authorities have detained PTI figures, banned public gatherings and closed key highways as the party threatens a mass protest to demand Khan's release.
