Flash flooding has struck Bright Angel Canyon and Phantom Ranch on Saturday afternoon, forcing air and ground evacuations and washing out footbridges. The National Park Service has evacuated at least 62 people, is seeking information on about 15 people believed unaccounted for, and has closed trails and river access as heavy rain and more storms are forecast through Monday.
