American NFL quarterback for the Carolina Panthers
Carolina has earned a 33-30 victory in the Hall of Fame game as Haynes King leads a late drive for the win. King, who is week-to-week with a hamstring injury, has impressed with two touchdowns and 219 yards of offense. He is expected to be Carolina’s No. 3 QB behind Bryce Young and Kenny Pickett, with the team weighing additional backup options.
The Bills will stage a dual anthem ceremony with both Canada and U.S. national anthems before their season opener, reflecting ongoing tensions in U.S.-Canada trade. Barenaked Ladies will sing O Canada and Auliʻi Cravalho will perform the Star-Spangled Banner as Buffalo hosts Detroit at Highmark Stadium.
