Former Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo has been arrested after failing field sobriety tests in Wisconsin. He has appeared in court and is due on Sept. 21. Romo, now CBS’ NFL lead game analyst, has a long Cowboys record and personal history, with CBS declining to comment.
CBS Sports has placed former Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo on leave “until further notice.” JJ Watt will join Jim Nantz and Tracy Wolfson as CBS’s lead NFL team during Romo’s absence. Romo faces a Sept. 21 court date after Wisconsin authorities cited an open bottle and impairment at a July 23 stop on I-43.
