CD Tenerife forward Jesús de Miguel has died after a collision with FC Andorra goalkeeper Jesús Owono during stoppage time on Monday. De Miguel was taken to the intensive care unit at Hospital Universitario de Nuestra Señora de Candelaria and was later reported to have deteriorated; the club announced his death at 08:00 on Tuesday.
