Minnie Merriman, a nine-year-old from West Yorkshire, has died after being found injured at the Elliot Industrial Estate in Angus. A 35-year-old man from Wakefield is charged with murder and has appeared at Forfar Sheriff Court. Police say Minnie's family, camping nearby, are supported by specialist officers and the investigation remains active.
