Port town on Germany’s North Sea, gateway to Heligoland
A donkey named Freddy, roaming with a horse near a roundabout in Holssel, south of Cuxhaven, has become aggressive. It jumped into a van after drivers attempted restraint. A 33-year-old woman who tried to help was hospitalised; drivers sustained minor injuries. The owner arrived to secure Freddy; the cause of the aggression remains unclear.
