David Alechenu Bonaventure Mark, born 8 April 1948, is a retired Nigerian army brigadier general and long-serving lawmaker and Senate president.
A Federal High Court in Abuja has voided the leadership of Nigeria’s African Democratic Congress (ADC) led by David Mark, overturning the party’s presidential ticket for Atiku Abubakar. INEC is told not to recognise the Mark-led committee. The ruling adds to a wave of litigation complicating the January 2027 elections as opposition candidates face legal hurdles.
