The Carabao Cup second round draw has taken place, with Chelsea, Tottenham and other Premier League clubs entering the competition. The draw is regionalised into north and south sections, and ties will be played in the week commencing 24 August. Several top-flight teams, including West Ham, Newcastle and Leeds, are among the participants.
Kevin Keegan has died at 75 after battling cancer. The former England manager and star, who won two Ballon d’Or awards and led Newcastle to top-flight success, has been mourned by clubs and fans. The family says he passed away in the company of his wife and daughters.
