Law enforcement has arrested 38-year-old Jeanine John Taele at Trump National Golf Club in Rancho Palos Verdes after agents said they found a loaded 9mm pistol, a 16‑round magazine with hollow‑point rounds and photographs of security‑planning activity. Investigators have searched Taele’s Downey home and recovered an illegally modified AR‑style rifle, body armour, radio devices and notebooks with "concerning statements."
A Marine veteran, Jeanine John Taele, 38, is undergoing psychiatric evaluation and has been referred to a Hollywood mental health court. Police found a loaded pistol, a badge reading “security protection agent,” and 200 notebooks with surveillance notes after Taele was arrested at Trump National Golf Course Los Angeles while a Trump event occurred nearby. He is not yet deemed fit to stand trial.
