Welsh regional rugby club in the URC, playing at Rodney Parade
The WRU has confirmed a plan to operate with three men's teams from 2028-29: one in Cardiff (capital), one in the east (Dragons) and one in the west. Cardiff Rugby and Dragons RFC are expected to receive licences, while Scarlets and Ospreys compete for the remaining slot. Licensing terms will be finalised by the end of the 2026-27 season.
