Egyptian authorities have charged six Matsadaash journalists with belonging to the Muslim Brotherhood, citing terrorism and false reporting. The platform’s editors are detained or interrogated as rights groups condemn the crackdown on independent media. The six are Abdallah Qadry, Mohamed Ashraf Abu Emaira, Islam Barakat, Omar Helal, Mohamed Mahmoud and Mohamed Adel.
