Scotland international rugby union player, Saracens in England
Sale has defeated Saracens 21-17 to register their first Premiership win of the season. A red card to Jacques Vermeulen early in the first half tested Sale, but a resilient second half saw tries from Jibulu, O’Flaherty and Bamber seal the result, with Saracens’ Mawi and Bracken replying.
Glasgow Warriors have come from 12-0 down to beat Sale 47-27 in their Champions Cup opener, with late tries from Darge, Smith and Tuipulotu sealing the bonus point. Sale briefly led again but Glasgow’s driving maul proved decisive and ensured maximum points as the clubs head into December fixtures.
