Amazon has announced a $1 per-hour raise for full-time U.S. core operations workers, bringing average hourly pay to about $24 and total compensation past $32 with benefits. New perks include 10% grocery discounts online and 20% at Whole Foods stores, plus Day 1 Financial banking access via First Tech Federal Credit Union. The changes take effect Sept. 27 (pay) and Oct. 1 (discounts).
