Kerr has shattered Hicham El Guerrouj’s 27-year-old mile world record, clocking 3:42.66 at the London Diamond League. The Scotsman built Project 222 around the pursuit, aided by pacemakers and bespoke gear, and is now targeting further middle-distance records while eyeing the Commonwealth Games and other Diamond League races.
