The MT Honour 25, carrying 18,500 barrels of oil, was seized by pirates off Puntland in April. Puntland forces have rescued the vessel, arrested 16 suspects, and say five crew members — three Pakistanis, one Indian, and one Myanmar national — were killed during the hijacking. Several crew members were injured; the vessel is under government protection as authorities pursue remaining suspects.
