Britain’s long-running amateur-baking contest on TV
Sky has agreed to buy ITV’s broadcasting and streaming arm for 1.6bn, with ITVX included but ITV Studios excluded. The deal aims to rival global platforms and will see Sky invest heavily while ITV retains its production arm and public-service commitments.
