Stacey Humphreys, 53, has been convicted of malice murder for the 2003 killings of two real estate agents in Powder Springs, Georgia. He is scheduled for a lethal injection at 7 p.m. on Sept. 16, making him the first Georgia inmate to face execution this year amid ongoing coronavirus-era litigation over death-penalty procedures.
