Gousto has announced a plan to consolidate manufacturing at its Warrington facility, closing the Clay Lake site in Lincolnshire. The move aims to boost efficiency and keep prices low in a competitive meal-kit market, with about 290 staff at Clay Lake set to lose their roles. The Warrington hub has seen substantial automation investments to support a broader recipe range and personalized orders.
