Body of myths of ancient Greece, origin of gods, heroes and ritual practice
Archaeologists have restored a curved ceiling vault at Pompeii to resemble the original banquet-hall shape, revealing a Dionysus–Ariadne scene. The work, presented at an international workshop, adds to earlier finds including a large private bathhouse and a display of 79 AD eruption casts.
