A global visual database and benchmark for object recognition
AMD has announced an all-stock acquisition of World Labs for about $8.2 billion. The deal will bring World Labs’ world models, including Marble and Atlas, under AMD’s umbrella, with Fei-Fei Li joining as executive vice president and chief scientist. The transaction is expected to close by year’s end subject to regulatory approvals.
