The largest airport in Turkey and a European hub for Turkish Airlines
Incheon International Airport has become the world's busiest international hub in the first half of 2026, overtaking London Heathrow as disruptions from the US-Iran conflict redirect passengers to Asia. Heathrow remains under pressure to expand as Istanbul overtakes it in Europe, while Dubai declines.
Liverpool has secured a five-year shirt sponsorship with Turkish Airlines from June 2027, replacing Standard Chartered. The deal is worth more than £60 million per season and makes Turkish Airlines the main club partner on front-of-shirt for men’s, women’s and academy teams, with Standard Chartered moving to global partner status.
