NFL owners have awarded Nashville the 2030 Super Bowl to be played at the city’s new $2.1 billion enclosed stadium, with planning already underway as the city hosts major events and prepares for stadium completion in 2027.
CBS Sports has placed former Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo on leave “until further notice.” JJ Watt will join Jim Nantz and Tracy Wolfson as CBS’s lead NFL team during Romo’s absence. Romo faces a Sept. 21 court date after Wisconsin authorities cited an open bottle and impairment at a July 23 stop on I-43.
