The NBA investigation into the Clippers, Aspiration, and Leonard has broadened to examine whether the endorsement deal and related payments crossed the line into off‑the‑books compensation. Toronto’s trade to bring Leonard back is on hold as the league reviews potential penalties. The Clippers deny wrongdoing and say they have fully cooperated.
