UNESCO has inscribed Mount Olympus as a mixed cultural and natural World Heritage Site after a 12-year campaign by Greece. The site joins other inscriptions including the Normandy beaches and Japan’s Asuka-Fujiwara sites, underscoring Greece’s commitment to preservation amid rising tourism.
The deal proposes Virginia benefits including a new co-headquarters tower, 600 new jobs, extended residential bill credits, and a boosted low-income aid program as regulators review the NextEra-Dominion merger.
