A Secret Service agent in Miami’s field office has been charged with hazing with a deadly weapon, aggravated battery and attempted manslaughter, connected to a four-night paddling ritual at off-campus residences tied to the Kappa Alpha Psi fraternity. The three men face arraignment for charges that include severe injuries requiring skin grafts and kidney damage. The agent has been put on administrative leave and released on bond pending further court action.
