Glastonbury 2027 headliners have been confirmed by Emily Eavis as three acts, with Madonna ruled out. Swift, Styles and Oasis headline talk continues, while Madonna’s absence is clarified. The festival returns in June 2027 after a fallow year.
The Victoria and Albert Museum will host Freddie Mercury Splendid Things, a free trail featuring eight iconic looks spanning his 1970s–80s career. Mary Austin has loaned seven outfits, including the monochrome Imperial College ensemble and the Mercury Wing catsuit. The display runs 24 October 2026 to 17 January 2027, with mannequins, sets and a public programme celebrating Mercury’s flamboyance and design influence.
North Hertfordshire Council has granted SJM Concerts a premises licence for Knebworth House, enabling large-scale events and the Oasis reunion tour discussions. The licence allows up to 125,000 attendees, with live music and late-night events, and comes as a documentary on the reunion is set for Venice. The 30th anniversary of the 1996 gigs and other historic performances are in focus.
