A Royal Canadian Geographical Society expedition has mapped Shackleton’s Quest and Scott’s Terra Nova using Voyis imaging and Alvin submersible, creating high‑resolution 3D models. The goal is to preserve and study the ships in situ, with crews documenting coral life and wreckage as they push toward full digital twins.
