Scotland goalkeeper Angus Gunn has endured a chastening MLS return with San Jose Earthquakes, conceding four goals as Orlando City win 4-0 at home. It follows Gunn’s stop-start period since Scotland exited the World Cup and his recent club inactivity. Maxime Crepeau has also been in fine form for the Quakes, but the result leaves San Jose mid-table after the loss.
MLS has named Larry Berg as the league’s next commissioner, with Don Garber transitioning to a chairman role by 2027. Berg will divest from LAFC and lead the league into a new calendar and media rights era following the 2026 World Cup boost.
