Prince Harry has visited the UK this month for charity and Invictus events and has met King Charles and Queen Camilla at Highgrove. The meeting has allowed Harry’s children, Archie and Lilibet, to see their grandfather for the first time since 2022. The trip has followed his loss in a High Court privacy case and a dispute over state-funded security for his family.
The High Court has ruled on costs in the case involving Mitch Winehouse and Naomi Parry/Catriona Gourlay after an 11-week trial. ANL faces a potential indemnity costs award, with interim payments due in August. The court notes the overall costs exceed 34.5 million pounds, while the claimants’ insurance coverage stands at 16.2 million.
A High Court costs ruling in London has ordered Prince Harry and other claimants to pay a substantial interim sum to Associated Newspapers, following a long-running case over alleged unlawful information gathering by the Daily Mail publisher. The decision accompanies ongoing moves by Harry and Meghan to return to the UK.
