Former Titans star Chris Johnson has revealed he has ALS, diagnosed in 2025. He says he chose to fight, using a speech device, and is sharing his journey publicly. The announcement comes after his successful NFL career, including a 2,006-yard season in 2009.
The 49ers have trimmed to a 53-man roster ahead of their season opener in Australia against the Rams. They trade for veteran interior lineman Jarrett Patterson, add depth at guard and center, and place several players on IR or PUP as they prepare for Week 1.
