Celtic manager Martin O’Neill has undergone a small procedure in hospital and is expected to be released in a day or two. He signed a one-year deal in June to become permanent Celtic boss and led last season’s double, with the club’s next league game in doubt as he recovers.
Celtic has moved ahead in their Champions League play-off after a 3-0 first leg in Glasgow, with Nygren and Durán scoring and Duran adding a third. LASK created chances; Celtic are in a strong position for the return leg in Linz.
