Milwaukee’s city police force
The 1949 Picasso Torero print, one of 30 known to exist, has been recovered in Milwaukee. It was stolen in 2018 from DeLind Fine Art Appraisals. A community member turned it in to police, who confirmed its identity and returned it to the gallery. The case may face statute limitations and no charges have been announced.
