Monty Don has stepped down from Gardeners' World after over 20 years as lead presenter, ending a defining era in British gardening media.
The BBC has announced that Monty Don, the longest-serving head gardener on Gardeners’ World, is stepping down at the end of the current series. He has hosted from Longmeadow in Herefordshire since 2011 and will pursue new BBC projects and writing after a farewell series.
