Irish-British biographical drama, 1989
Irish Oscar-winning actress Brenda Fricker has died after a period of ill health in Dublin. She won Best Supporting Actress for My Left Foot (1990) and appeared in Home Alone 2 and Casualty. Tributes describe her as a legend and a generous, versatile performer.
A short film, Echoes, explores how two men confront trauma and mental health while reconciling past events at a former school. The project, led by Walters and Nathalie Emmanuel with director Alex Lanipekun, features on-set mental health support and politicians a reflection on masculinity and violence, drawing parallels with a TV series about toxic culture.
