Private Ukrainian logistics firm; competing with Ukrposhta
Ukraine has renewed long-range drone strikes targeting Wildberries warehouses across Russia, destroying stock worth billions and affecting tens of thousands of independent sellers who rely on the platform for livelihoods. The moves come as Kyiv aims to disrupt Russian logistics and pressure the home front.
A series of drone and missile incidents have escalated tensions across Ukraine and neighboring Romania. A large fire followed a drone strike on a civilian facility in Sumy region, while another strike hit a shopping center in Zaporizhzhia. Kyiv reports a major attack near a defense-industry site, with casualties and warnings of a possible large-scale missiles assault in the next 48 hours. Romania reports drones shot down near the border, marking ongoing regional drone incursions.
Since mid-July Ukrainian forces have struck more than a dozen Wildberries warehouses and other industrial sites deep inside Russia. Overnight strikes have hit a Wildberries warehouse in Samara and facilities across the Volga and southern regions, killing dozens on both sides, while Moscow says it downed hundreds of Ukrainian drones.
Ukraine has intensified strikes on Russian oil facilities deep inside Russia, hitting refineries in Bashneft-Novoil and Slavneft-Yanos, and carrying out Black Sea operations against vessels. The moves aim to disrupt Moscow’s war-financing oil revenues as fighting continues and civilian infrastructure faces pressure.
