New Orleans hospital on Napoleon Avenue, Uptown
Tulane University is leading a $500 million plan to convert Charity Hospital into a biomedical research hub, reviving a city landmark damaged by Katrina. Construction is set to start this fall and to be completed by 2029, with labs, startups and classrooms to fill the art deco building.
