The Dutch central bank has relocated a large share of its gold reserves from New York and Ottawa to London, citing improved tradability in a crisis and strengthened resilience. The move, which occurred between March and August, leaves London as the largest holder of the Dutch gold stock while the Bank of England hosts a majority of the moved assets.
