A geological frontier: the Pacific Ring of Fire’s earthquakes and volcanoes
A strong earthquake struck near Sicaya, Huancayo province, Peru, injuring more than 20 people and displacing about 300. The epicenter was 2 km west-southwest of Sicaya, at a depth of 10 km.
