Irish-English vocalist and songwriter, frontman of the Pogues
Glen Hansard has died in a motorcycle crash in Lucan, west of Dublin, after a career spanning street busking, leading The Frames, and winning an Oscar for Falling Slowly from Once. Authorities are appealing for witnesses as tributes pour in from friends and colleagues.
