China’s market watchdog for competition, IP and consumer safety
Tesla has recalled about 2.98 million imported and China-made Model 3, Model Y, Model S and Model X cars after Chinese regulators identified risks with electronically retractable door handles and driver-monitoring systems. Tesla will push over‑the‑air software updates, add in‑car labels and contact owners who need in‑shop fixes. Nine other automakers are issuing similar recalls.
