The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has identified a recall issue in 2026 Subaru Crosstrek Hybrid, Forester/Forester Hybrid, and Ascent models due to incorrect GAWR certification labels. Subaru will mail corrected labels to owners and dealers will apply them free of charge; notifications begin in late August.
