Irish rock band, Dublin-founded in 1990, led by Glen Hansard
Glen Hansard has died at 56 following a motorcycle crash in Lucan, near Dublin. Police say a motorcyclist in his 50s died at the scene and was pronounced dead shortly after. Hansard won an Academy Award for Falling Slowly from Once and led The Frames; his death is prompting tributes from Irish circles.
