American MLB pitcher for the Tampa Bay Rays
The Mariners have promoted left-hander Kade Anderson to make his major league debut against the Cubs this weekend. The 22-year-old top pitching prospect has dominated the minors with a 1.06 ERA over 93 1/3 innings and 135 strikeouts. Seattle seeks a boost as it fights for a playoff spot, with Anderson joining a rotation already reshaped by trades and injuries.
