Joint US unions representing TV and film writers
The Writers Guild of America West and East have filed a federal complaint, arguing the Paramount-Warner merger would reduce competition, suppress writers’ wages, and shrink opportunities. Regulators in the U.S. and abroad are reviewing the deal, with lawsuits from state attorneys general additionally challenging the merger.
