The Gambia Reparations Commission has received $2,573,414.10 from the sale of Yahya Jammeh’s Maryland mansion. The funds are deposited into the Reparations Fund at the Central Bank and will be used exclusively to compensate victims of abuses under Jammeh’s rule, which ended in 2017.
