How we got here
Qantas has long pursued nonstop flights as part of Project Sunrise, after delays from the pandemic and supplier issues. The A350-1000ULRs are equipped with extra fuel tanks and a dedicated wellbeing zone, aiming to reduce jet lag and increase premium demand on the new routes.

The Boeing 787 Dreamliner, often shortened to Boeing 787, is an American wide-body airliner developed and manufactured by Boeing Commercial Airplanes. After dropping its unconventional Sonic Cruiser project, Boeing announced the conventional 7E7 on January 29, 2003, which focused largely on efficiency.
